Seedance 2.0 Mini workspace
Seedance 2.0 Mini for short video drafts
Mini is locked in this workbench. Use 480p or 720p and up to 15 seconds to check a shot, its rhythm, or a prompt direction before choosing the next workspace.
Use Mini to make the next decision smaller
Mini is useful when the open question is narrow: whether the camera should track or hold, whether a hook reads in a vertical crop, or whether a prompt needs less detail. The page keeps the model fixed so each result is easier to compare with the next one.
SeeVideo is an independent third-party service. The workbench shows the controls wired to the connected provider adapter; the provider still validates every request.
A Mini draft loop
Make a short clip you can inspect, then decide whether the next pass belongs in Mini, Fast, or Standard.
- 01
Pick one shot question
Test a single camera move, a pacing beat, or a prompt rewrite instead of a complete campaign concept.
- 02
Keep the settings readable
Choose 480p or 720p and a short duration that lets you inspect the action without adding extra beats.
- 03
Choose the next workspace
Keep refining in Mini, use Fast for another short test, or move to Standard when the output needs 1080p or 4K.
Controls and limits in this workspace
The model registry, provider adapter, and credit estimator supply these values. The server checks the final request before it is submitted.
| Control | Current value | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Provider model ID | doubao-seedance-2-0-mini-260615 | The locked workspace sends this exact model ID to the provider. |
| Resolution | 480p / 720p | The selector exposes only these registered output sizes. |
| Clip duration | Up to 15 seconds | The 2.0 adapter accepts manual values from 4 seconds through this limit. |
| Reference limits | Up to 9 images, 3 videos, and 3 audio files | Audio needs an image or video reference. A first frame uses exactly one image; a first-and-last pair uses exactly two and cannot be mixed with video or audio. |
| Output format | MP4 | The format selector is limited to the registered format for this model. |
| Credit estimate | Calculated in the workbench | The estimate changes with model, duration, resolution, aspect ratio, and video input when present. |
Published Mini examples
These Mini videos already appear in the product. Each card keeps the recorded model, mode, aspect ratio, duration, and resolution beside the video. A sample shows one result; it does not promise the same outcome for every prompt.

POV Perfume Unbox
Prompt
POV first-person product ad: two hands tear open a matte black gift box in slow motion, lift the lid, and reveal a minimalist glass perfume bottle. Fingers raise the bottle toward the camera so the label area catches soft studio light. Vertical-friendly framing or 16:9 hero crop, subtle handheld realism, luxury commercial look, shallow depth of field, clean reflections, photoreal, no readable brand text, no logos, no watermark, no subtitles.

Luxury Watch Orbit
Prompt
Use the provided image as the exact first frame and product identity. A premium wristwatch floats against a pure black background, slowly rotating while suspended water droplets catch the light. Single top spotlight, extreme macro detail, jewelry-commercial aesthetic, slow orbital camera, high-end look, preserve exact product design, no text, no logos, no watermark.

Mini prompt starters
Each starter isolates one visual decision in the locked Mini workbench. Treat it as a first pass, then adjust the part that needs a clearer answer.
Product move
9:16 · 720p · 5 seconds
Vertical close-up of a small glass bottle on a matte table. A hand rotates the bottle once, then leaves the frame. Soft side light catches the edge of the glass. The camera stays still. No readable text.
Pacing check
16:9 · 720p · 5 seconds
Wide shot of a courier stepping from a quiet subway platform into morning light. The camera follows for one smooth move and stops as the courier reaches the doorway. Keep the background movement restrained.
First-frame transition
9:16 · 480p · 5 seconds
Start from the supplied room photo. The camera pans slowly from the doorway to the window as daylight grows warmer. Keep the furniture layout stable and end before the camera reaches the wall.
What to review before publishing
A completed task still needs a full review. Watch the clip before relying on it in a published edit.
Occlusion
When subjects cross in front of one another, continuity can break around the overlap.
Fast interactions
Hands, objects, and several moving subjects need scene-by-scene review when the action is quick.
Physical cause and effect
Motion, contact, and materials can look inconsistent from one part of a clip to the next.
Generated lettering
Small text and symbols can change between frames. Add final readable copy in an editor after review.
Dynamic credit estimate
The locked workbench calculates a credit estimate from the selected settings. The server recalculates accepted work, then settles the record from provider completion usage. The estimate is not a fixed price quote.
Review credit pricingQuestions about this workspace
Which resolutions can I choose here?
This workspace exposes 480p, 720p. It does not add other output sizes from another Seedance model.
How long can a clip be?
The 2.0 adapter accepts manual durations from 4 to 15 seconds. Queue time depends on the provider and is not promised on this page.
How is the credit estimate handled?
The workbench estimates credits from the active settings. The server rechecks an accepted request and settles the credit record from provider completion usage, so a screen estimate is not the final charge by itself.
When should I leave the Mini workspace?
Stay on Mini while you are checking a short shot, rhythm, or prompt direction. Use Fast for another short model variant, or move to Standard when the next request needs its 1080p or 4K setting.
Is this an official ByteDance or Seedance page?
No. SeeVideo is an independent third-party service. Seedance is used here to identify the connected model and does not imply affiliation or endorsement by ByteDance, Seed, Dreamina, or CapCut.
