Privacy Policy
How SeeVideo collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information.
Last updated: 2026-08-14
This Privacy Policy explains how SeeVideo ("we", "us", or "our") handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, make a purchase, submit a generation request, or contact support (collectively, the "Service"). It does not replace the privacy terms of independent third-party websites or services that you choose to use.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account and profile information: email address, name, avatar, authentication identifiers, and account preferences.
- Content and generation information: prompts, reference images, video, audio, other files, generation settings, task history, and Outputs. This material may contain personal information if you choose to provide it.
- Transaction information: products selected, order and subscription identifiers, payment status, amounts, currency, invoices, and tax-related transaction information. Payment card and bank details are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout; we do not intentionally store full card numbers or security codes.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, operating system, log records, dates and times of access, pages and features used, error reports, and security signals.
- Support communications: messages, attachments, and other information you send through support channels.
We collect information directly from you, automatically through your browser or device, from authentication providers you choose, and from payment, fraud-prevention, analytics, storage, and AI service providers involved in delivering the Service.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide requested features;
- process purchases, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and transaction records;
- run generation requests, store and deliver Inputs and Outputs, troubleshoot errors, and provide support;
- maintain, test, protect, and improve the Service, including detecting fraud, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations;
- communicate about transactions, security, service changes, and support requests; and
- comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, the public, and our providers.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests, or with your consent where required. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior processing.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share personal information with:
- Service providers that help us host, store, analyze, secure, support, communicate, process payments, prevent fraud, or provide AI generation capabilities. They may process information only on our instructions and for the stated purpose, subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
- Payment providers or Merchant of Record shown at checkout, to complete and manage a transaction, prevent fraud, handle chargebacks, and meet tax or financial obligations.
- Professional advisers, authorities, and other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce our agreements.
- A successor organization in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.
We may also share information in aggregated or de-identified form that does not reasonably identify you.
AI processing and your choices
To provide a generation request, we may transmit the prompt, selected settings, and reference media you submit to the AI provider that performs the request. Do not submit personal information, confidential information, or media unless you have a lawful basis and the necessary permissions to do so. Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request and you understand the associated risks.
You can review and delete generation history where that capability is available in the Service. Deleting content from a user-facing area does not necessarily remove it immediately from backups, security logs, payment records, or provider systems; those records are handled under our retention practices and applicable obligations.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service, including authentication, session security, language preferences, fraud prevention, and remembering interface choices. If enabled by the site administrator, we may also use Google Analytics, Plausible, advertising, or customer-support tools to understand usage and improve the Service. These providers may set or receive their own cookies under their privacy notices.
You can control cookies through browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or other features from working. Where consent is required before non-essential technologies are enabled, the deployment responsible for enabling them must obtain that consent first.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain security, comply with legal, accounting, tax, and dispute-resolution obligations, and enforce our agreements. Retention varies by data type and context. For example, account, task, and support records may be retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter; transaction records may be kept longer where required by law or needed to resolve payment disputes. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information longer.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections, recognized adequacy mechanisms, or other measures permitted by applicable law.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit where supported, monitoring, and security reviews. No system or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected compromise.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, or to complain to a data-protection authority. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. These rights may be limited where an exception applies, such as a legal obligation to retain records or the rights of others.
To exercise a privacy right, email support@seevid.org with the subject line "Privacy Request," your account email, country or region, and the request you are making. Authorized agents should provide evidence of authority where required by law.
Children
The Service is not directed to children. Do not use the Service or provide personal information if you are below the minimum age required to enter into a binding agreement in your location. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate authorization, email support@seevid.org so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, when legally required, provide additional notice or obtain consent. For questions, complaints, or requests concerning this Policy, contact us at support@seevid.org.
